WHAT YOU NEED TO CREATE A KOKEDAMA:

  • Seed Raising Mix
  • Peat Moss
  • Sphagnum Moss
  • Plants of your choice
  • String

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1

Soak your sphagnum moss in water for 15-20 minutes until it puffs up

Add Spahagum Moss to a bucket of water to activate
Step 2

Using a 50 to 50 ratio combine Peat Moss and Seed Raising Mix together in a bowl

Step 3

Grab you plant and remove a bit of soil from root soil to leave room for the peat moss and seed raising mixture

STEP 4

Grab the mixture and start patting around the bottom of the root soil to create a mud ball

STEP 5

Ring out the sphagnum moss, and evenly lay out the moss to create a tight layer around the ball

STEP 6

Finally, wrap the string around the ball to secure the sphagnum moss from falling apart, tying a knot at the end
