LAYOUT ONE
Two couches placed in a 90 degree angle and an arm chair placed in the top corner of the space.
PERKS
- Arm chair plays a nice feature in the space
- Oppositional seating conversation between the lounges
DRAWBACKS
- The guys on either side of the couch wouldn’t be able to see the TV
- Blocks the traffic and the flow of the space
LAYOUT TWO
Similarly to layout one, the couch is now pushed back to the side of each wall in a 90 degree angle. With two armchairs on placed on the other side of the wall.
PERKS
- Eight people can enjoy and be seating in this space
DRAWBACKS
- As mentioned in layout one, the entry of the room is being embedded further since the couches have moved back
LAYOUT THREE
Layout three, is probably the most aesthetically pleasing out of all the layouts. It is where both couches are placed perpendicular to each other, with the backings on each side of the wall
PERKS
- Visually gorgeous
- Creates great symmetry
- Great conversation
DRAWBACKS
- Very few people can watch TV comfortably
LAYOUT FOUR
The last layout, in our opinion probably the best layout – is the two three seater couch pushed all the way to the back of each wall, and the two arm chairs placed in the centre.
PERKS
- Seating eight people
- Spaced out, which creates flow within the space
- Side tables can be accessible by someone sitting either in both couch and armchair
DRAWBACKS
- The person in either end of the couch won’t be able to watch the TV comfortably
Styling
And now here comes the fun bit! It’s time to style this room with beautiful pieces and creating lots of layers
We started with adding this beautiful the rug to create some texture and layers in the space. And simply then the coffee and side tables, the cushions, table lamps and accessories and bam! A beautiful styled and furnished living room to die for!
