The Basic Finish from our Everyday Guide is our go-to finish for a classic, hand-painted look when restoring furniture such as this desk renovation. It’s easy to achieve with just a few products and is our recommended finish for those new to painting.
Desk Makeover
This old desk was in need of an update, and we decided to keep things simple. We applied two coats of Jolie Paint in Gesso White using a Signature Brush to create subtle brushstrokes and soft texture. We then applied two coats of Finishing Wax in Clear for added protection.
