Building Three Schools in Three Years

Anyone who has met me or has seen me teach knows that I am super passionate about education.

I am truly inspired by the difference education makes in the lives of women and children around the world.

Sadly, not all children are as fortunate as my four beautiful children.

In the country we live I have little fear around my beautiful daughter being married at 10 or taken and sold into human trafficking. But this is the reality for so many children around the world.

There are some amazing organisations working tirelessly to end the trafficking and use of children in all different areas of the world and one of the ways they do that is via education.

Education has been shown to decrease the likelihood of this being a little girls’ reality by a significant amount.

That is why I have partnered with United World Schools!

Together with your help, I have committed to build three schools in three years, meaning over 750 young girls and boys will have access to an education that before would only have been a dream.

Why UWS?

Thanks to UWS, 15,000 children have had the opportunity to attend a school in nine years!

• 160 locally based teachers are employed and receive training supported by UWS
• There are 78 UWS school development projects across Cambodia, Nepal and Myanmar.
• The cost of operating these schools are extremely low and achievable, at less than $1 per week per child.

How are we going to do it?

With your help, we need to raise $31,000 USD to build our first school this year!

• Come to build with us!! We will be taking a small group of people to Cambodia with us each year to assist in the building of the school. To be eligible to embark on this life changing trip, you must raise over $5000.
