I get the chance to work with some amazing people, attend some amazing events and run some pretty amazing events, too. In the process, I help a lot of people to sell their homes and make more money (and fast)!
But none of this would happen if I didn’t set goals.
Have you visited your goals this year? There is so much content on the internet and social media around goals being SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound). This only one of many systems or structures that you can use to set your goals.
But here is my golden rule…they must be written! If it is not written it is not real!
Yes yes yes, if it is a SMART goal, that is of course a bonus, but sometimes we let the details get in the way of getting started.
The same can be said for when people are looking to prepare their properties for sale. Sometimes the tasks ahead seem overwhelming.
To avoid this the best way to start is by writing down where you want to end up and when. Rather than writing an endless list of all the things you think you need to do to the property to prepare it for sale, instead write down what you want to do…sell…lease…and when you want to do it.
Remember write it down and it is real!
