There’s so much to think about when doing a renovation on your property everything from the size of the rooms the heights of the ceilings the colours of the walls the tiles you name it it can be overwhelming with the number of choices that are to be made and far too often people forget about what I call jewellery for your walls.
In the past I think that too often the internal timber trims have been an afterthought or even at times left up to the builder to decide but I can’t stress enough how much careful consideration of the profiles you use in your property can have a huge impact on the overall finish. For example …..everything from the skirting boards the cornices the doors the architraves the picture rails the chair rails the wall panelling can make such a huge difference on your property.
For those of you who have been following Waukiovry Estate renovation and Carrington House renovation you will know I am a massive fan of internal timberwork. And one of my most commonly asked questions is how did I choose my profiles, So I decided to pop a little video together for you to explain cheque it out below.
If you fell as madly in love with the timber trims on either of these projects as I did click below to check them out and grab your samples today.
