Without a doubt kitchens are the heart of our homes.

It’s a place to entertain, spend time with families, and even sometimes do our homework there (if we’re not too busy snacking).

We sat down with Patricia Lohan, who shares a simple and easy way to implement Feng Shui Kitchen tips.

Patricia Lohan, from PatriciaLohan.com

Feng Shui is practically like acupuncture for your home essentially.

Just like your local acupuncturist checking your qi and working with your meridians, Feng Shui for your home’s testes out the energy and the meridian in your house.

There is a lot of fire and heat associated with your kitchen, which often links to an area of prosperity and luck.

Rapid Renovation Formula™
Clutter free does not have to be boring.

However, clutter and positioning certain things in your actual kitchen can affect the “prosperity” and feng shui of things.

So how do we improve our Feng Shui in our kitchen? Patricia, list a few top tips and tricks to what you should be doing in your kitchen.

  1. Decluttering benches, pantries, and countertops
  2. Organising shelves and cupboards
  3. The positioning of the oven and sink can cancel our “Prosperity” – Where water from the sick and put off the fire of the oven.
  4. To eliminate this, adding the colour Green, such as a plant or tea towel in between can cancel it out.

Top Tip – Seperate the sink and the cook top for good Feng Shui
