Lorn Rose Farm Quick Event Makeover

The Lorn Rose Farm is an amazing property that my dear friend and client of almost a decade Denise Duffield-Thomas purchased recently. Denise approached me a month or so ago and told me that she wanted to run an event in the main spaces of the home and she wanted to do a Quick Event make over of the spaces. The brief was PINK, feminine, whimsy and ROSES naturally. It had to be fun and she really wanted it to have the feeling the furniture that she felt walking into her nana’s house when she was a girl.  Do you remember that feeling of when you walked into your Nan’s house, the big florals, the colours and the wicker magazine racks.

The catch being we had 5 days to do it!!!!!

There was so much to do, the property gardens were overrun and the spaces were very vanilla.  Oh and one thing I forgot to mention, we reclaimed all the furniture for the spaces and doing them all up.  The project is very much about injecting energy into a space with the intention that is put into each piece of furniture, each hand made cushion, each wall and colour choice.    We made over everything from side tables and arm chairs to full dining suites.
