Hi guys, it’s Naomi Findlay here, your rapid renovation expert.
Did you know I have a renovation course? You can check it out here!
With the Queen’s birthday just around the corner, I thought I’d bring you a living room transformation that I would consider fit for a queen!
Today I am at a massive family home working on their main living room. The brief from this family is that they’re after a super family-friendly space that the whole family, of 8 people, can sit down in. They really want an elegant style, which they have found difficult to achieve due to a large number of windows and sliding doors in the space.
Let’s see what I can do!
key points:
- Adding a large lounge and coffee table into this space could look very disconnected. I have used a huge rug to anchor all of the furniture and to bring unity to the space.
- When selecting a rug, I have opted for a multicolored, textured rug to disguise any spills that could happen.
- Art and side tables are great ways to add visual interest to the walls.
